The National Pharma fest ‘8th Pharma Mindz’ was organized at I.T.S College of Pharmacy on 3rd March 2017. 300 students from 14 different Pharmacy institutions of Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Hapur, Dadri, New Delhi actively participated in different events like Poster and Pharma model, T–Shirt painting, Solo singing, Dance, Rangoli, Quiz, Essay writing and Pharma Collage.
The fest was opened with the lighting of the lamp. Mr. Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, I.T.S - The Education Group spared his valuable time and graced the occasion. Mr. D.S Jolly, Administrator, I.T.S Paramedical College was also present. Dr. S. Sadish Kumar, Director - I.T.S. College of Pharmacy gave an enthusiastic welcome speech.
Dr. A.K. Nasa, Drugs Control Department, Delhi and Mr. Sanjay Kumar, General Manager, IDPL, Gurugram were invited as guests of the Fest. Dignitaries shared their experiences with the students regarding profession of Pharmacy and encouraged the students with their warm and motivating words. All the students participated enthusiastically in all the events under the supervision of all event coordinators & student volunteers. Refreshments and Lunch were arranged for all the participants.
Dr. A.K. Nasa, Mr. Sanjay Singh and Dr. S. Sadish Kumar awarded the winners with trophies & certificates. Judges from other colleges were felicitated by presenting mementoes. The fest was coordinated by Dr. Manoj Kr. Sharma (Assoc. Prof.) & Mr. Rajiv Malhotra (HCR & MA) with the assistance of Ms. Garima, Ms. Monika & Ms. Neelam (Asst. Profs.). The function came to an end with the vote of thanks by Dr. Manoj Kr. Sharma.
