Dr. APJ AKTU sponsored National Seminar
at I.T.S College of Pharmacy
One day National Seminar on “Contemporary issues in analytical and bioanalytical research” sponsored by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University was organized by I.T.S College of Pharmacy, Ghaziabad on 16th September, 2017 at Vikram Sarabhai Auditorium. Dr. Pradeep Bhardwaj (Group CEO & Medical director, Six Sigma star healthcare Limited), Dr. Jai Prakash (Senior Principal Scientific Officer,IPC), Dr. Vidhu Aeri (HOD & Prof., Department of Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry, Jamia Hamdard), Mr. Arpit Chadha (Vice Chairman, I.T.S-The Education Group), Mr. Surender Sood (Director-PR) and Dr S. Sadish Kumar (Director, I.T.S College of Pharmacy) inaugurated the mega event by lightening the lamp.
Dr. S. Sadish Kumar welcomed all the resource persons, dignitaries, delegates and participants.Mr. Surender Sood briefed on the importance of a Pharmacist’s role in the society while Mr. Arpit Chadha emphasized how analytical research completes any scientific research. More than 300 Pharmacy students, Research scholars, directors and faculty members from various Pharmacy colleges and Industryparticipated in the conference.
Dr. Vidhu Aeri made a comprehensive presentation covering a broad range of analytical and bioanalytical research methodologies.Everyone was fascinated by the speech of Dr. Pradeep Bhardwaj (Guest of Honor). He gave a call to all the budding pharmacists to equip themselves with positive concepts and practices to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.Dr. Jai Prakash (Chief Guest) spoke at length about various advanced research activities in IPC and endorsed the role of Pharmacopeia and formulary in education.
Oral sessions and Poster presentations were held during post lunch sessions. Top three posters and oral presenters in various specializations were awarded.
Scientific session ended with an enlightening talk about the recent chromatographic techniques by Dr. Arvind Kumar (Senior Director Analytical Research, Teva Pharmaceutical Research Centre, G.Noida). The conference came to an end with vote of thanks by Ms. Snigdha Bhardwaj (Asst. Prof.).
