AICTE workshop on “Aiming for excellence: Pathways to institutional advancement through research” was held on 1st November 2017 at AICTE, New Delhi. Dr. Anil D. Sahastrabudhe, Chairman and Dr. M.P. Poonia, Vice Chairman of AICTE inaugurated the workshop. The workshop was attended by many delegates from Pharmacy, Engineering and Management fields from all over the country. 4 faculty members Dr. Shalini Kapoor Sawhney (Associate Professor), Dr. Rajkumari (Associate Professor), Dr. Dinesh Puri (Associate Professor) and Mr. Prasoon Kumar Saxena (Assistant Professor) attended the workshop. Mr. David Pendlebury, the leading expert in Bibliometric analysis, from Clarivate Analytics conducted the workshop. The speakers of the workshop emphasized on teaching and learning to be research oriented. Overall the workshop was very informative giving the five C’s of research-creative thinking, critical thinking, collaboration, communication and commitment to ethical research practices.
