The 9th National Pharma fest ‘Pharma Mindz’ was organized at I.T.S College of Pharmacy on 22nd February, 2018. Around 400 students from 25 different Pharmacy institutions of Agra, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Hapur, Dadri, New Delhi actively participated in different events like Poster, Pharma model, T–Shirt painting, Solo singing, Dance, Rangoli, Quiz, Essay writing and Pharma Collage.
The fest was opened with the lighting of lamp. Mr. Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, I.T.S - The Education Group graced the occasion by sparing his precious time and giving his address speech. Dr. S. Sadish Kumar, Director - I.T.S. College of Pharmacy gave an enthusiastic welcome speech.
Dr. Vimal Gupta, Managing Director, Abyss Pharma Pvt Ltd, New Delhi was invited as the Chief guest of the Fest. He shared his experiences with the students regarding profession of Pharmacy and encouraged the students with their warm and motivating words. All the students participated enthusiastically in the events under the supervision of faculty & staff members as event coordinators with the assistance of student volunteers. Refreshments and Lunch were arranged for all the participants.
Dr. Vimal Gupta and Dr. S. Sadish Kumar awarded the winners with trophies & certificates. Judges from other colleges were felicitated by presenting mementoes. The fest was coordinated by Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma (Assoc. Prof.), Mr. Rajiv Malhotra (HCR & MA) & Mr. Rahul Chaudhary (Asst. Prof). The function came to an end with the vote of thanks by Ms. Gurvindar Kaur.
