I.T.S – Education Group organised a webinar today on 21st May at 5 pm on "Start-up Canvas- 9 steps to Startup Success" by celebrated speaker Mr. Saurabh Jain, Vice President, Paytm. He is heading the 'Paytm - Build for India' program and also has an active role in startup products, developer relations, social impact / CSR, education and training within Paytm. Mr. Saurabh also manages the relationships with various industry bodies including NASSCOM, CII, FICCI, and PHDCCI.
Mr. Saurabh Jain is also the founder of Fun2Do Labs. Fun2Do Labs believes in the motto - 'Making education OPEN and FUN!’ Fun2Do Labs is an Open Education Project. Fun2Do Labs is pioneering research into transmedia education, maker education and start-up education.
He is also an inventor of PERSONAL PERSISTENT MESSAGING SYSTEM (PPMS) and NEURO SYMBOLIC NETWORK GENERATION AND EXECUTION SYSTEM for which he had got provisional patents. He has been a speaker at various places all around the globe. He is a Chartered accountant with keen interest in technology. He has authored 2 books on mobile application technology.
He interacted with the I.T.S students in his webinar about 9 steps to start up success. He discussed 3 types & goals of start-ups. Product, people & purchasing power are 3 focus areas of start-up founders.
He told students to relate & empathize with their customers while initiating your project. He emphasized on the core team, angel investor & venture capitalist. Around 50 Pharmacy students and faculty participated in the meet.
The students found the session to be really interesting and extremely useful. They found the concept of bootstrapping, incubation, product market fit very insightful. As per the students in this pandemic situation since the economy is dwindling, they may play a key role in supporting the country by starting their own Start-up.
